For many, time in a correctional facility provides an opportunity to pause and reflect on the decisions that have brought them there and what they want life to look like moving forward.
These conversations matter.

Thank you to the team at Kirkconnell Correctional Centre for welcoming us back for another year and to everyone who took part in today’s session.

Andrew thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone, sharing his story and providing encouragement and support to those on their own journey towards making positive changes for the future.

Your past may explain where you’ve been. It doesn’t have to decide where you go next.

Change starts with a decision, to take responsibility, make different choices and work towards a better future.

Thank you to the Wellington Correctional Centre and Orana Youth Justice Centre for having us back yesterday. We've been fortunate to present It's Your Life a number of times over the years at both of these facilities and every time we leave humbled that we were able to make an impact and hopefully change some lives.

Thank you to both facilities for having us today and for helping us make a difference.

A huge congratulations to our Ambassador Andrew Fisher, finishing 2nd in the Masters and 3rd overall in the 2026 Touring Car Masters! 🏆

And while the racing season may be over, Andrew’s year is far from done.

Time and time again, Andrew has gone from racing on the weekend then jumping straight on a plane to deliver back to back Life Choices Programs to schools and correctional facilities across Australia.

That takes serious commitment.

Still in Bathurst Andrew spent the day at Bathurst Correctional Centre presenting the It's Your Life Program to inmates over two sessions.
Discussing themes of legacy and impact and encouraging the participants to have the strength to let go of their past and to shape their lives around the legacy they would like to leave.
We're grateful the staff at the Bathurst CC for helping to facilitate multiple sessions every year and for those who had the courage to participate and the openness to change.

The Life Choices team wishes our Ambassador Andrew Fisher all the best as he hits the track this weekend for the last time in 2026 at Mount Panorama Bathurst!

After another huge year of racing, we’re looking forward to seeing Andrew take on one of Australia’s most iconic circuits.

Go get ’em, Andrew!

October is Mental Health Month in Australia.

Sometimes the most important thing we can do is simply check in.

A conversation. A question. Taking the time to listen. Letting someone know they’re not alone.

For young people especially, having someone they trust to talk to can make a real difference. That’s why creating supportive, respectful environments where people feel valued and heard matters every day - not just today.

Let’s keep the conversation going. Check in, listen and look out for one another.
