Resilience isn't about never facing challenges. It's about learning how to move through them.

Life will always present obstacles, setbacks and moments that test us. Resilience is what helps us adapt, keep perspective and find the strength to take the next step forward - even when things don't go to plan.

It's a skill that can be developed through positive relationships, self-awareness, healthy coping strategies and the confidence to ask for support when it's needed.

Because resilience isn't about being unbreakable, it's about finding the courage to keep going.

A great way to wrap up our Ipswich tour; hundreds more students engaged in conversations about making positive choices, building resilience and taking responsibility for the future.

Thank you to today's participants from the Men of Business Academy.

Every school is different, but the goal remains the same: to create a space where young people feel challenged, encouraged and empowered to think about the choices they make and the impact those choices have on themselves and those around them.

A huge thank you to the staff and students for your warm welcome, your engagement and the way you embraced the conversations throughout the day.

Thank you to the Year 10 students at Laidley State High School and Lockyer District High School who participated in the Life Choices Program today.

Andrew spoke about self image, social media, finding your anchor, world views and more. He shared stories about the choices he was faced with in high school and how that shaped parts of his character and resilience. Our aim is to make an impact on teenagers to help equip them for later on in life.

We’re back in Queensland this week and we’ve started with a HUGE day yesterday, Andrew presented to 700 students at Aspley State High School and Stretton State College.

Speaking to large groups of students is about more than delivering a presentation. It’s about starting conversations that encourage positive choices and help shape character.

When these conversations continue beyond the classroom, their impact can be felt in homes, friendships and throughout the community.

Yesterday we had the privilege of visiting the maximum and minimum security units of South Coast Correctional Facility again to deliver the It’s Your Life Program.

Having visited this facility many times over the years, we are proud to continue bringing this program to participants and creating opportunities for reflection, growth and positive change.

Andrew shared his personal journey, challenged participants to let go of the weight of their past and encouraged them to find the strength and courage to take ownership of their future.

Through honest conversations and real-life experiences, the It’s Your Life Program aims to inspire participants to think differently about their choices, their relationships and the legacy they want to leave behind.
