🎉 You’re Invited to the Yandelora P&C Disability EXPO 🎉

We’re proud to support our wonderful partners at Yandelora School as they bring the community together for the Yandelora P&C Disability EXPO!

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet a range of organisations, ask questions, and explore the services available across the Macarthur region all in one place!

It's on Wednesday, 28 October 2026 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at Yandelora School, 1B Wilson Crescent, Narellan.

Whether you’re a family member, carer, support worker, or community member, everyone is welcome to come along, make connections, share information, and discover the support available in our local community.

All you need to do is turn up. We look forward to seeing you there!

School holidays are a wonderful opportunity to make memories, build confidence and develop new skills. At Together We Play, we know holidays can also be a lot for parents and carers, so we're here to provide opportunities for children and young people living
with disability to learn, grow and work towards their individual goals in a supportive environment.

Fun, friendship, learning and opportunities to grow! 💛

Our January school holiday program offers engaging activities that encourage:

💫 Building social skills, communication and positive relationships with peers.

💫 Developing independence, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

💫 Practising turn-taking, teamwork, sharing and cooperation through games and group activities.

💫 Exploring sensory experiences and strategies to support emotional regulation and self-awareness.

💫 Building confidence, trying new activities and developing skills through individual interests.

💫 Encouraging choice, participation and personal growth at each child's own pace, with support tailored to their individual needs and goals.

Whether your child loves group activities, sensory play, games or exploring new interests, our program provides opportunities to practise everyday skills, strengthen social connections and build confidence in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

While your child participates in meaningful activities that support their skill development, social participation and independence, you can enjoy some well-deserved time to yourself, knowing they're welcomed, valued and encouraged to be themselves. 💛

🎉 School Holiday & After School Support for Children Living with Disability 🎉

One of our absolute favourite programs is Together We Play.

In partnership with Yandelora School, Narellan, we provide a safe, secure and inclusive environment for children and young people with a wide range of support needs.

During the school term, TWP operates Monday to Friday after school, providing a welcoming and supportive environment where children can learn, play, connect and grow.

During NSW school holidays, TWP operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.

This program provides opportunities for children and young people to:

✨ Learn and practise new skills
✨ Build friendships and social connections
✨ Take part in fun and engaging activities
✨ Grow in confidence
✨ Develop greater independence
✨ Feel included, supported and valued

Hi Everyone:

Our team and the people we support are at the heart of everything we do.

That’s why we love taking opportunities to learn, connect and make the most of the fantastic services available in our community.

Recently, our team met with the Health Promotion Team for valuable training around healthy eating, nutrition and positive body image.

We explored practical ideas and helpful resources to support healthy choices, positive conversations and wellbeing for children and families, while keeping things positive, inclusive and achievable.

A huge thank you to the Health Promotion Team for sharing your knowledge, resources and passion with us! 💚

✨ Support that fits you and your lifestyle ✨

Living with disability can look different for everyone, and finding the right support shouldn’t feel like a one-size-fits-all experience.

We’re all about creating genuine opportunities for our clients to get out and about, connect with others, build confidence, learn new things and, most importantly, enjoy life in a way that feels right for them.

Our Day Program is centre-based and runs Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with community activities that focus on building independence, developing skills, trying new things, and having fun along the way.

Sometimes, having people around you who understand makes all the difference. Our Peer Support Program runs on weekday evenings and weekends, with social outings, community activities and plenty of opportunities to meet people and build friendships.

Everyone has different interests and goals they’d like to work towards. Our 1:1 supports are built around our clients; whether that means exploring a hobby, learning a new skill, getting out into the community or simply doing more of the things you enjoy.

There’s no pressure to choose one particular path. We’re happy to have a chat, get to know you and your family, and see what might be a good fit.

Tomorrow is R U OK? Day 💛

Sometimes, checking in with someone doesn’t need to be complicated.

Just four simple words can open the door to a really important conversation:

“Are you okay?”

We all have days when things feel a little harder than usual. Sometimes, simply knowing that someone has noticed, is willing to listen, and genuinely cares can make a real difference.

Tomorrow, we’re encouraging our participants, families, staff and wider community to take a moment to check in with someone.

💛 Be present.
💛 Listen without judgement.
💛 Let them know you care.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes, being there and listening is enough.

Let’s look out for each other, not just tomorrow, but every day.

✨ Small moments. Big steps towards independence. ✨

We are passionate about supporting children living with a disability to build confidence, develop new skills and experience greater independence.

We believe that everyday moments can create meaningful opportunities for learning, growth and connection.

Recently, one of our awesome clients prepared his afternoon snack. He safely used the microwave, carried the plate to the table, and cleaned up afterwards. 🙌

These may seem like simple everyday tasks, but they are important milestones. 💛
