Meet our Keynote Speaker
Geoff Brailey is a social researcher, strategic advisor and Director of Solutions at the internationally recognised McCrindle. As an experienced researcher, Geoff understands how evidence-based insights can inform strategy and help organisations to thrive amidst change.
He has assisted organisations to identify new target markets and improve engagement levels with staff, donors and customers.

Can you request visits from an Aged Care Volunteer Visitor? ✅ Yes — if someone is approved for a Support at Home Package or lives in a Residential Aged Care Home. This FREE service is funded by the Australian Government and delivered by our trained volunteers. 🇦🇺

We’re On-site Clare Community Centre – 1st Wednesday Monthly, Starting This Week! 🚗

Volunteers, drop into Meeting Room 2 from 10am–3pm Wednesday 6 May for a catch-up and chat about your visits/drives.
New faces welcome too—chat about volunteering (drivers or ACVVS visitors needed!), book transport, or say hi. Bring a friend!

• stay on top of your financial affairs and inform as many trusted people as possible of your wishes
• keep in touch with family and friends
• stay active in your community
• increase your online confidence and skills
• plan ahead and write down what you want to happen.

As an older person receiving government-funded aged care – either in your own home or in an aged care home – you have rights. The Statement of Rights, which is included in the Act, gives you the right to speak up, to be treated with respect, and to make choices about your aged care. Providers and aged care workers are legally obliged to deliver services in line with these rights.

Enshrined in the Statement of Rights is your right to equitable access, but what does this mean?
Your needs in aged care are assessed fairly, including your history, culture, and health conditions, ensuring that cultural connections and any health conditions are considered.
