🏀 Southern Yorke Peninsula Basketball Association – Treasurer Opportunity 🏀

The Southern Yorke Peninsula Basketball Association (SYPBA) is seeking applications for the position of Treasurer.

This role operates independently of the Executive Committee while reporting directly to the Executive Committee and plays a vital role in ensuring the ongoing financial health and success of our association.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual who is passionate about community sport and basketball and is keen to contribute to the continued growth of basketball across the Southern Yorke Peninsula.

Key Requirements:
✅ Financial management and reporting experience
✅ Strong organisational and communication skills
✅ Experience with Xero Accounting Software preferred
✅ Commitment to supporting community sport and volunteer organisations

This is a semi-voluntary position with a small annual remuneration provided in recognition of the time and commitment required.

As a community-based association, SYPBA relies heavily on the dedication of volunteers and people willing to make a positive difference.

U18 EADP TRIALS | REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN

SA Country Basketball is pleased to announce registrations for the 2026/27 U18 Emerging Athlete Development Program (EADP) trials are now open!

The trials are open for all athletes born in 2010 and 2011, who live in country South Australia.

Registrations are now open for another Online Level 0 Beginner Referee Course for all SA Country Members.

Attendees must attend both modules to pass the theory component of the course. All users will need internet, and a laptop with Zoom installed and a camera to be able to participate

Here is the updated finals program for this week.

With only two weeks available to run finals, clubs have agreed on a 1 v 4 and 2 v 3 format for this round.

➡️ The winners of these games will progress straight through to the Grand Final next week.
