Welcome to Term 3
Dear Parents/Guardians and Cadets,
Welcome back to Term 3!
We hope everyone has enjoyed the school holidays.
We have an exciting 10-week term ahead and look forward to seeing all our cadets back tonight.
Important Dates
* 22 July – First night back
* 28 July – Camp information distributed
* 8 & 9 August – Bunnings Sausage Sizzle (volunteers needed)
* 11 August – Term fees due
* 25 August – Camp forms and payment due
* 3–7 October – Cadet Camp
Bunnings Sausage Sizzle
Our Bunnings fundraiser is an important event for our unit, and we’d love your support. We are looking for:
* Parents/Guardians and volunteers aged 16+ to assist with cooking.
* Cadets to help with serving, preparing bread, collecting donations and other duties.
If you’re able to volunteer for even a short time, please let us know via email or commenting on this post.
A Thank You to Mrs Hughes
After an incredible 20 years of service, Mrs Hughes has retired from Cadets.
Her dedication and commitment have had a lasting impact on countless young people and families and we sincerely thank her for everything she has contributed.
We wish Chelsie and her family all the very best for the future.

As our instructors are all volunteers with work, family and other commitments - we kindly ask that, where possible, non-urgent enquiries be made on Tuesdays.
This allows us dedicated time to respond and ensures enquiries are directed to the appropriate instructor.
We also respectfully ask that future cadet related enquiries are no longer directed to Mrs Hughes, allowing her to enjoy a well-earned break with her family.
Uniform Returns
If your child will not be returning to cadets, please attend a Tuesday training night to return all issued uniform items. Please place everything in a labelled bag with your cadet’s name to assist with processing.
Thank you for your continued support of Quinns Youth in Emergency Service Cadets. Your support of both your cadets and our volunteer instructors is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to another fantastic term together.
