Evening everyone,
On behalf of Myself, Chelsie, and the entire Instructor Team, we would like to thank all the parents and cadets that assisted us with what was a crazy 48-hour fundraising marathon.
This 48-hour marathon started at 4pm on Friday with Wanneroo, Saturday Wanneroo Show and Bunnings BBQ day 1 then Sunday Bunnings BBQ day 2.
Here is a snapshot of the massive effort put in this weekend:
• Friday Night Wanneroo Show 15 Cadets and 5 Instructors
• Saturday Wanneroo Show Day/Night - 18 Cadets and 6 Instructors
• Saturday Bunnings BBQ - 11 Cadets, 6 Parents and 7 Instructors
• Sunday Bunnings BBQ - 10 Cadets, 8 Parents and 5 Instructors
Huge effort by all and some did all events which was greatly appreciated.
I am pleased to report that the most successful part of the weekend was the money we raised for our group in 48 hours.
We raised a huge $9,500 for the whole weekend which is an amazing total.
• Wanneroo Show $2,000
• Bunnings BBQ Day 1 $3,750 Profit – 1200 Hotdogs sold (Collection tin total in this $798.25)
• Bunnings BBQ Day 1 $3,750 Profit – 1200 Hotdogs sold (Collection tin total in this $818.60)
