There are pros and cons to each different way of farming, but our model of small scale farming that doesn't heavily rely on fossil fuels, complex external supply chains, and expensive machinery, was a deliberate choice.

We need more people doing this work in our community, and we want to make that happen 🌱

We've nearly finished the Hive! It feels like the start of the next chapter for Growing Together, and we’re excited to finally have a dedicated space for training, workshops, events, music and gatherings at the garden.

There are still two more workshops on the 20th and 27th to finish the walls and floor if you’d like to be part of the build and pick up some really useful skills from Peter Hickson, one of Australia's leading earth builders 😊

Find us at this afternoon from 4-6pm for your weekly dose of locally grown fresh veggies (plus all the other amazing goods on offer).

Rainbow chard

Carrots
Leek
Baby beets

Plus maybe a few other little goodies that we find growing in our food forest.
