Sometimes, it’s the smallest essentials that make the biggest difference.

Kylie’s Story

“I reached out to a couple of services and they had none… so I asked a Yibirmarra volunteer if they had nappies. They made sure I had enough for a while so I wouldn’t need to reach out again. Yibirmarra were great because they also supplied wipes.”

Kylie was doing everything she could to care for her child but like many parents, she found herself in a moment of need with nowhere to turn.

After being turned away elsewhere, she reached out again this time to YIBIRMARRA FOUNDATION

And the response wasn’t just YES
It was care, provision, and thoughtfulness.

Not just nappies for today
but enough for the days ahead.

Not just the basics
but the wipes too, because every detail matters when you’re raising a child.

Every family has a story.
Sometimes all it takes is one act of kindness to remind someone they are not alone.

At Yibirmarra Foundation, we see firsthand how practical support restores dignity and how hope changes lives.

Bee’s Story

“We just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you have done for us and our family this year. We are truly thankful and blessed to have such an amazing community group.”

For Bee and her family, this year brought unexpected pressures and challenges. Like many families, they were doing their best but sometimes “doing your best” still isn’t enough.

Through food support, encouragement, and practical help, they were able to breathe again.

What meant the most to Bee wasn’t just the groceries or assistance it was knowing there was a community standing with them. A community that cares. A community that shows up consistently.

That’s what Yibirmarra is about.
