SLOOSH KIDSCARE is a non-for-profit community-based association following the Guidelines under the Model Rules and National Childcare Association (NCAC). We believe that childcare is an important service in the community. Whether it is called childcare, kindergarten, preschools, an early childhood learning Centre, long daycare or one of many other names. They are all providing
the important serv
ice of caring for our precious children. SLOOSH KIDSCARE staff have develop and provide a structured, FUN and INVITING environment for the children to attend. Our Centre has many resources, and our professional, qualified & experienced staff take a pro-active part on their interactions with the children. At Before School Care we provide a safe supervised care Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.30am to 9am. The children are given breakfast and are actively engaged in activities and then safely transported to school in our minibus before bell time. At Afternoon Care we provide a safe supervised care Monday to Friday between the hours of 3pm to 6.30pm. Children are collected from school by our staff and then safely transported to our Centre in our mini-bus or by foot. They then will actively be engaged in structured crafts, games and sporting activities as well as have free time with friends. During this time, the children will also be given afternoon tea. Our Vacation Care Program is run Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm during school holidays as well as designated school "Pupil Free" days. During the children's holiday period, we provide excursions & incursions. Some of the excursions include:
Imax Theatre, Darling Harbour, Luna Park, Bowling, Movies, Ice Skating, Dance Workshops
Lollipops Playland, Water Fun Sports Days, Bike and Scooter Day and lots more. Some of our incursion activities includes:
Theme days, cooking activities, Indoor / Outdoor games, Music & Dance, Arts & Crafts
Movies & Popcorn Day, Adventures and lots more. Our main aim is to provide the children a safe,
