Good morning Mildura Weir parkrun ... no don't panic its not Volunteer call outs or missing items , but just letting you know that this week Parkrun Australia has organised for Parkruns that wish to register take part in raising awareness of children's safety and in conjunction with the Daniel Morcombe Foundation we will be wearing Red in honour of Daniel and the need to keep our Kids safety at the centre of our attention .

Mildura Weir parkrun
Event number 318 | 24th October 2026

Another beautiful Saturday morning at Mildura Weir parkrun, where 257 people ran, jogged and walked their way around the course. That’s 257 people who chose to get out of bed early on a Saturday… some might question our sanity, but we call it community spirit! 😂

We welcomed 30 first timers and celebrated 26 new Personal Bests. A fantastic effort! Representatives from 3 different clubs also joined us.

🎉 Milestone celebrations! 🎉
A big congratulations to Willow on her 50th milestone and Henry on his 25th. It’s wonderful to see our younger parkrunners getting involved and clocking up those milestones. The future of parkrun is looking bright!

We also had some visitors join us from Gawler, Broken Hill, Whyalla, Croydon and Renmark. Thanks for making Mildura Weir part of your parkrun travels. We hope you enjoyed our little corner of the world and will come back for another lap sometime!

👏 A huge thank you to our 17 volunteers, who made today's event possible. Without you, we'd just have a bunch of people wandering around wondering where the finish line is!
