whitecubemildura is an artist ran initiative which was established to provide an unusual, low stress, fun and creative approach to exhibiting art in public spaces. Three micro galleries each measuring 30 x 30 x 30 cm have been placed in different locations throughout the CBD, including Stefano's Cafe Bakery, Klemm's Newsagency and Shugg Group. whitecubemildura was established by two artists - Kate and Filomena - with a lot of help and support from friends and local businesses. Now whitecubemildura has been taken over by two new curators Rohan Morris and Dean Worthington. The intention is to make the exhibiting and viewing of artwork as accessible as possible. We hope that the exhibitors and community will help make this small idea create a big splash in this Murray River region. The Artists walks occur on the first Saturday morning every month, it's a relaxed social opportunity for people from all walks of life to get together for a stroll, visiting the three cube sites as well as other arts spaces in the CBD. Come along, meet and chat with the artists. Walks start at 27 Deakin Avenue, where you can grab a coffee and walk to Klemms Newsagency for the morning paper and then find out if they are tax deductible at Shugg Group!
