Congratulations to Red Cliffs – 2026 Barry Plant SFNL Senior Football Runners-Up. 🖤💛

Red Cliffs didn’t have everything go their way early in 2026. They took some losses, learned from them and kept improving. By the end of the home-and-away season, the Tigers had built an 11–5 record and finished second on the ladder, earning themselves a genuine shot at the premiership.

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

Red Cliffs built their season around connection. They had quality players and experienced recruits, but they weren’t relying on fly-in footballers to get the job done. This was a group that trained together, committed to each other and developed a genuine bond as the season went on.

That growth carried them all the way to Grand Final Day and a 2026 runners-up finish.

And in many ways, the Grand Final itself reflected what country football is all about.

Two strong, connected groups representing their clubs, their teammates and their communities on the biggest day of the SFNL season.

Congratulations to both Red Cliffs and Mildura on their outstanding 2026 seasons and for the contribution they continue to make to the Sunraysia FNL.

Wentworth A Grade premiership player Molly Mangan reflects on the Roos’ Grand Final win and the season that got them there.

After navigating injuries, player changes and some early-season uncertainty, Wentworth’s depth stood up when it mattered most.

Molly also credited the support around the team, saying the Wentworth crew were there week in, week out at training and on game day — and that the cheering squad probably helped get them over the line.
