Northern Mallee Local Learning and Employment Network (NMLLEN) brings the community together to improve education, training and employment outcomes for all young people in our region. Northern Mallee LLEN (NMLLEN) helps school students undertaking VET as part of their VCE and VCAL studies, including School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs), to access Structured Workplace Learning (SWL

What an amazing event Emergency Services Day 2026 turned out to be! 🚑🚒

What a great day out at Select Harvests with Werrimull P-12 students! 🌿
Students had the chance to step inside a major local agribusiness, learning how almonds are grown, harvested and processed, while discovering the many career pathways available in the industry.
Opportunities like this bring learning to life and show students what’s possible right here in our region.

There's something special about support that's rooted in the community it serves.

Across Victoria, the LLEN Network are working alongside schools, TAFEs, businesses, and community organisations, not from a distance, but right there, in the local areas where young people live and grow.

Because the challenges a young person faces in regional Victoria aren't always the same as those faced in the suburbs of Melbourne. And the solutions shouldn't be either.

That's the heart of what Local Learning and Employment Networks do - local knowledge, local relationships, local impact.
