Northern Mallee Community Partnership

Northern Mallee Community Partnership The Northern Mallee Community Partnership is a community based organisation which fosters relationships with and between organisations in the Mallee.

The Northern Mallee Community Partnership (NMCP) is an amalgamation of the Midura Rural City Council's Community Engagement Framework with the Northern Mallee Primary Care Partnership. We aim to establish a platform for a true community sector partnership incorporating health, education, local government, police, justice and welfare sectors to be at the same table, working on the same issues under

a coordinated facilitated approach to improve the health and wellbeing of our community. Our ultimate goal is to foster a collaboration between these community based organisations and members of our community, using a Collective Impact framework. Collective Impact is a framework for social change, where actors from different sectors across the community come together with a common agenda to address a complex social problem. In March 2016, we created a Collective Impact initiative - ‘Hands Up Mallee.’

Hands Up Mallee will include extensive community engagement through a series of consultations we call ‘Community Conversations’, and will venture to improve the health and wellbeing of the Mallee region. You can find out about Hands up Mallee at: facebook.com/handsupmallee
