Melinda Hinkson hosts a panel of passionate people; environmentalist Bob Brown, geographer Lesley Head, advocate Sophia Pearce, and councillor Peta Thornton in the session - Critically Endangered: What Future for Life along the Murray/mil-Darling/Baaka rivers.

What would it take to build consensus at this critical juncture? What lessons can be learned from other watery battlefields? Could a people’s movement turn this situation around? Can our waterways flourish once again?

17/07/2026

Beautiful start to the night with Sunraysed Voices and friends singing three river songs with the last one involving the 170 strong audience joining in before the Critically Endangered session about the Murray/mil-Darling/Baaka rivers.
