Well, it's about time I did a bit of a post rally debrief, been a hectic few weeks following the rally & have sort of found a few minutes to go over some of the photo's etc.
Well what an epic nearly 2 weeks away, a few days to detune in Cairns before embarked on the short trip to Port Douglas for the pre rally formalities then it was off to the start line for the epic trip south to the colder weather.
Over the next 7 days we travelled through Rain Forrest, dusty plains, high mountain ranges, plenty of river crossings & only a few of them were dry :), fire tracks when we got down south.
It was truly a wide variety of tracks & roads that looking at you wouldn't normally even travel on & doing it in a S**tbox well that added to adventure.
After 6 Rallies that would have to be the most diversified & enjoyable as far as different styles of tracks & roads that we travelled on.
Oh yeah a Rally wouldn't be a Rally unless you dropped into some of the local establishments :) 🍻🥂 for a quiet one & we must say some hidden gems amongst them too 👍👌
We have to say the most memorable incident & you have to have one lol was (memo to one self - ALWAYS check the fuel you get from outback servo's) the whole Buddie group got a jerry can of fuel each didn't check & put in, turned out to be diesel, all 7 cars drain tanks & get some more to get us to a servo. that was an interesting experience.
I have to say we had a great Buddie group that made it a great adventure also.

As we have said this was our Last Ride for S**tbox Rally but we may do a Mystery Box in the future so we can say we have done 1 :)
But for now we are looking forward to our own adventures :)
