❤️ A LITTLE EXTRA LOVE FOR OUR COMMUNITY ❤️

In times like these, community matters.

Sunassist is offering 50 chicken schnitzel meals with gravy and vegetables, plus 50 assorted sandwich packs to community members affected by the power outage who may need a little extra support. If you know a neighbour or someone that may be doing it tough please reach out .

You do not need to be a current Sunassist client to access this offer. Our regular Meals on Wheels clients can continue to contact us for their usual meals, while this initiative is for people who may not have used Sunassist before or may not know how we can help.

📍 Meals will be available for collection from 1:00 pm tomorrow at 56 Ninth Street.

🚗 Limited delivery may be available for those who genuinely cannot collect.

To reserve a meal, please contact Sunassist on 5023 1906 or email [email protected] by 11:00 am tomorrow morning and provide your name, phone number and address. Your meal will then be held at the office for collection.

Due to the short notice, we’re unable to accommodate individual dietary requirements or allergies for this.

If you or someone you know is doing it tough, please reach out. We’re already here for our wonderful clients, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to extend a little extra care to our wider community.

Please note: Due to only 50 places being available, this assistance is strictly for people without food, financial means, or family and friends able to help. We kindly ask that you only submit a request if there are no other options available. We truly wish we could assist everyone and greatly appreciate your understanding.

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU FROM SUNASSIST ❤️

What a day! It’s safe to say we are all a little bit buggered, but what an incredible day it turned out to be.

Richard and Zoe would like to take a moment to recognise some truly amazing people who helped make this year’s Sunassist Motor Show possible.

Firstly, an enormous thank you to Judy, who has almost single-handedly organised this year’s Motor Show while we have had so many other things happening behind the scenes. Judy, the amount of time, effort and organisation you have put into this event has been phenomenal, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you have done. ❤️

A massive thank you also to Peter and Andrea. You two have simply put your heads down and done the hard yards. The grit, determination and sheer amount of work you have put in has been unbelievable — you are an absolute force to be reckoned with!

To Krystal , Suzie, our staff, volunteers, supporters and everyone else who turned up, jumped in and simply got the job done , THANK YOU. We know there are people we haven’t individually named, but please know your contribution has absolutely not gone unnoticed.

Days like this remind us just how lucky we are.

Sunassist simply could not do what we do without the people who give their time, energy and support to our organisation. Everything we do comes back to one thing — our community and the people we care for.

We are eternally grateful for the community that continues to stand behind us, support us and help us do what we love every single day.

And as for next year… 👀

The conversations have already started! Planning will begin over the coming weeks, and while things may look a little different — including potentially a different date
