Don a volunteer at the Clayton Bay Community Garden has lost his whipper snipper, red in colour. Last seen last Tuesday morning near the gate into the community garden. If found please return it to the community garden so Don can continue his valuable work.

Free event …..
“Stargazing and Telescope Night”
This coming Thursday 10 th Sept.
This time of year is ideal for viewing as our galaxy … “the Milky Way” , is directly above us … Use the telescopes to check out Nebulas, Constellations, Star Clusters and planets (weather permitting)
Warm finger foods, soups and bread from 6-6.30 ish.
Dress warmly ☃️

It's happening! Funding has been provided by Skylight who support people to build confidence, wellbeing, and meaningful connection in their communities.
Come along to one or all of the FREE beginner sessions at the Clayton Bay Hall. Bookings are essential; scan the QR code (but if you can't do it online, register at the Postal Agency). The one-and-a-half-hour sessions are on Wednesdays 23rd and 30th September & 7th and 14th October, 10.30 am, followed by a light lunch. (The middle 2 sessions are during school holidays.) If you need childcare, please give Leonie a call.

Just love what I’ve called….
“The Magic Faraway tree”
at the Clayton Bay SALA event.
So many beautiful creations on show and for purchase … paintings, photography , glass works , mosaics, weaving , knitted creations and metal works. There’s rope weaving, stitchery, even a miniature aquarium in a sardine can and biscuit tin guitars !
One more weekend …29 and 30 August 10-4 pm in the Clayton Bay Hall. Stay for a home cooked yummy lunch and a cuppa …

Thrilled to inform you that we have a full committee!
Thankyou to the many CBCA AGM attendees… it was so heartening to have 4 community members fill our vacancies with a couple more interested for the future.
What a lively and fulfilling 2+ years for outgoing committee Letho, Sandy and Jackie, and also Angie who filled a short term vacancy. Thank you doesn’t seem enough for your creative skills, sunny personality’s and can do attitudes !

Sam Mulcahy you are an absolute gem!

Just a gentle reminder for the community, that the Clayton Bay Community Association AGM is just over a week away from… Sat 8 Aug 1030 am. Stay for a sausage sizzle and taste our warm mulled wine after the event.
I for one am excited to hear our special guest speaker Sam Mulcahy’s Story ! We are also happy for everyone to meet our new Public Officer, Geoff Lambert .
Committee are this year looking for a few new faces to help the team to keep our hall and events ticking along. The finances are strong and the Hall is looking great.
One meeting a month to meet new people and enjoy the camaraderie of being part of group helping to keep Clayton Bay vibrant and unique!
