Everyone deserves to feel safe being exactly who they are! 💜🌈

For Wear It Purple Day, we came together to show our support for LGBTQIA+ young people and celebrate belonging, acceptance and inclusion.

We shared resources and explored the everyday actions we can take as allies to help people feel safe, respected, valued and supported. ⭐

A meaningful morning and an important reminder that everyone deserves to belong.

Two decades, plenty of stories and one very special milestone!

Staff came together over afternoon tea to celebrate Support Worker Peter’s 20 years with Crosslinks. 💙

There were plenty of memories shared, stories told and smiles as we celebrated the impact Peter has made over the years.

Thank you, Peter, for living the Crosslinks Principles and helping shape lives through 20 years of support, connection and commitment. Here’s to an incredible milestone! 👏

Dinner dilemma? Snack attack? Drew and Ellen have you covered! 🍴🧑‍🍳

These two have been busy in the kitchen making beef and garlic sausage rolls — golden, flaky parcels of deliciousness that definitely deserve a spot on the “make these again” list. 😋

Because cooking together isn’t only about creating something tasty. It’s about having a go, learning new skills, making choices, sharing a few laughs and enjoying that brilliant feeling of saying, "We made this!”

That’s what our Crosslinks recipe collection celebrates: real dishes our participants have enjoyed making and eating, with plenty of fun along the way. It reflects the joy, possibility and meaningful everyday experiences we love to champion at Crosslinks.

So, whether you need dinner inspiration or an excuse to fire up the oven, give Drew and Ellen’s recipe a go!

Community Crew Throwback!

Our participants had a fantastic time attending the Brabham NAIDOC Celebration, proudly led by Karlup Aboriginal Corporation and Indigo Junction.

Throughout the day, they immersed themselves in the celebrations, trying their hand at playing the didgeridoo, experiencing the Smoking Ceremony, enjoying the cultural performances, exploring community stalls and learning more about Aboriginal culture through bush tucker experiences.

It was a meaningful day of learning, connection and celebration, giving everyone the opportunity to experience and appreciate the rich cultures, traditions and stories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. 💙

Looking for more chances to connect? 🌼

Carers Connect is an informal group of parents and carers who share the lived experience of supporting a family member with disability. It’s a welcoming space to meet people who understand some of the challenges, changes and everyday moments that come with caring for someone you love.

With two regular opportunities to get together, there’s time to chat, ask questions, swap ideas and build genuine friendships — usually over a cuppa. ☕

There’s no pressure to have all the answers. Sometimes, simply connecting with someone who “gets it” is enough.

Read our blog to learn more about how Carers Connect provides support, and how you can join us.

Our Country and Western RAP Party was a boot-scootin’ good time! 🤠

Everyone dressed for the occasion and enjoyed country music, hat decorating, games, pizzas and plenty of laughs with friends.

Danielle, our People & Culture Exec, toe tapped her way out of her office to lead the Achy Breaky Heart line dance, alongside favourites like the Nutbush!

From pin the tail on the donkey to corn toss, the night was packed with fun from start to finish. 🌵👢🍕

Happy Birthday to the fabulous Mandy, who recently celebrated her Birthday in true Crosslinks style!

There were presents to unwrap, plenty of delicious food to enjoy, and the kettle barely got a chance to cool down. ☕💛

Surrounded by family, friends, laughter and love, Mandy's special day was filled with everything that makes birthdays worth celebrating.

And we can't forget a huge shoutout to Naninga – the resident house DJ! 🎶 Our Support Workers go above and beyond with their many talents, and Naninga kept the tunes flowing and the party vibes high all afternoon, from classic favourites to surprise requests!

Here's to another year of smiles, celebrations and making memories together. 🥳💜

🎲✨ Dragons, daring quests and plenty of laughs... what a fantastic night with our Social Sparks!

The social group recently stepped into the magical world of Inclusion Quest, an accessible Dungeons & Dragons adventure where imagination took centre stage.

A huge shoutout to our incredibly talented support worker, Kristen, who went above and beyond to create the experience. From designing unique characters and storylines to crafting detailed maps, 3D-printed playing pieces, and miniature forests, castles and landscapes, every detail helped bring the adventure to life.

As Dungeon Master, Kristen guided everyone through an unforgettable fantasy quest filled with teamwork, problem-solving and plenty of fun. It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged, using their creativity, building confidence and sharing lots of laughs along the way.

Who knew one evening could hold so much adventure? 🐉💙
