Swan Harmony Choir Welcome to Swan Harmony Singers aka Swan Harmony Choir. Being keen to join in and sing is all we ask of potential new members.

A vibrant community choir based in Midland with members from the Perth Hills and beyond, we sing an uplifting mix of swing, popular hits, and timeless standards, all in beautiful four-part harmony (SATB), under the expert direction of Richard Braham. Our choir was established in 1997, and currently has around 35 members, male and female, of all ages and singing abilities. We meet every Tuesday eve

ning from 7 pm to 9 pm, at the Old Midland Courthouse, 45 Helena Street, Midland. We sing mostly four-part harmony for soprano, alto, tenor and bass, but welcome any voice, range and ability. We are lucky to have the support and knowledge from our Musical Director - Richard Braham to help us provide our best performance at our concerts, usually 2-3 per year. The ability to read music would be helpful but is not essential, as you will find many other choir members keen to assist you at all times, - especially for those tricky bits! The choir sings a wide variety of pieces, including jazz, pop, swing and some sacred pieces. New members are always welcome but so we can show you just how great the choir can be you need to register before your visit so we can assign a Buddy to you. All new members now complete a free 3 week visitor programme - to make sure all parties can work together in harmony - before we consider membership options. :-)

Want to catch us in action? Here are some of our upcoming performances...

Saturday 13 September: Guildford Songfest Guildford. The festival is a whole weekend of WA choirs performing all over Guildford (http://www.guildfordsongfest.com/; https://www.facebook.com/guildfordsongfest/) – our concert is at 3:40 pm in St Matthew’s Hall, on leafy Stirling Square in Guildford.

Sunday 21 September: International Day of Peace! We perform at 3pm in the Darlington Hall, in the Perth Hills at Darlington.

Sunday 19 October: Annual Spring Concert, 3–5 pm in the Darlington Hall. Enjoy our traditional afternoon tea and cake (included). Saturday 1 November: Darlington Arts Festival, 3:15.

Swan Harmony Singers are back at it in 2025 with rehearsals starting on 21 January, 7pm, at the Guildford Town Hall (rehearsals thereafter are held at the Old Midland Courthouse).
