There hasn't been an update for a while but our A Green refurbishment is almost complete!! The shelters and new seats have been installed (thanks to John Hanson and Arthur Becroft for their hard work on that project.
We are awaiting the plaques to be put on the seats - there are more spaces available so if you would like one then please see Mike Pooley or enquire at the Bar - $400 for the seats with no backs and $500 for the seats with backing.
The gardens at the Middleton Beach Road end have had a revamp - well done to Bob Jefferis and his garden crew for the hours put in there.
Due to the club now having three synthetic greens, the Management Committee made the excellent decision to invest in a new roller to ensure the longevity and fantastic condition of our greens. Thanks to an anonymous donation, part of the cost of the roller was subsidised - any other donations would also be gratefully accepted to offset the cost of this machinery.
Below are some updated photos of the A Green with the new seating and shades - as well as some action photos of Project Manager Jeff Meyers manning the new roller.
The next project in the pipeline for the A Green is the area in front of the match office and Rinks 1 & 2 to make it more pedestrian accessible and able to put seating in front of the rinks.
Stay tuned for more photos tomorrow of the Mens' Championship Fours event from the A Green
