Save the Date - The 39th Annual 2026 Centenary Carols will be held on Sunday 6 December at Peter Lightfoot Oval, Middle Park from 3:30pm - 8pm. Presented by The Salvation Army West Brisbane and Cr Sarah Hutton

Join us for a family friendly event with loads of free activities during the afternnoon followed by Carols once the sun goes down as we tell the story of the First Christmas.

We are currently looking for 2026 event sponsors.

We do restrict sponsorship at this event to one of each business type and we welcome Reach Lending Group - Home Loans & Financial Services Total Tools Richlands Just-In Time Electrical 4074 property and Happifeet Podiatry as early event sponsors.

The 38th Annual Centenary Community Carols was simply amazing 🎄🎶 Thank you so much to everyone who came from near & far to sing along and join in the Christmas spirit with us.

The carols isn’t possible without an enormous amount of hard work behind the scenes by so many people, including;

Our organising committee and local churches including Riverlife Baptist Church, ISEE Church Brisbane West and the Centenary Salvation Army.

All of our sponsors and partners, many of whom are long time supporters.

Our incredible vocalists, choir, performers and band led by Director Sam Creamer.

The backstage crew and AV team from Bubbles Lighting.

Skylighter fireworks who provided one of the most amazing fireworks displays we’ve ever had!

Our hosts for the evening St Catherine's United Football Club Inc who provide a fantastic space to accomodate the huge amount of families who attend the carols.

Thank you again to everyone who came along. We look forward to seeing you again in 2026!

Today is the day! 🎄🙌 The 38th Annual Centenary Community Carols 🎶 is on at Peter Lightfoot Oval, home to St Catherine's United Football Club 🎅🏼

🎄 3:30pm Family friendly activities & market stalls open
🎄 5:30pm Pre-show entertainment on sage begins
🎄 6:30pm Welcome message from special guest
🎄 7pm The carols officially begin
🎇 8:15pm Fireworks

It's almost time! 🎄🎶🙌 The 2025 Centenary Carols is tomorrow at Peter Lightfoot Oval, Middle Park.

We have a huge lineup of free, family friendly activities starting at 3:30pm including:

🎭 Stage shows from Larrikin Puppets and Snake Boss Reptiles
🎯 A 33m inflatable obstacle course
🧗 Rock climbing wall
🧱 Lego building
🧪 Slime making workshop
🎨 Kids’ craft activities including Messy Play, Origami, Christmas Village Construction, Melted Snowman Craft Activity
🦎 Wildlife display
🍔 Food vans
🛍️ Twilight markets
🎶 Carols and a live nativity scene
🎆 Fireworks

🎅🎶 Family friendly activities & market stalls start from 3:30pm, performances on stage from approximately 5:30pm, followed by the carols beginning at 7pm where we tell the story of the first Christmas.

Its just 2 days until the 2025 Centenary Carols

This years markets will be on the netball courts with some of your favourites from previous events plus plenty of new stalls and local businesses.

Hi 4074 & Beyond Community. This Sunday at the 38th Centenary Community Carols you the local community have an opportunity to give back to people in need via the Centenary Chamber of Commerce / Let’s Give Christmas Gift Drive. Ther will be a trailer at the carols for you to place your donation (up to $30 value) of any of the below items. Beach towels (kids & teens)
• Jigsaw puzzles
• Board games
• Squishmallows
• Swimming goggles
• Craft activity kits
• Books (kids & teens)
• LEGO
• Balls (soccer, AFL, basketball)
• Swing ball sets
💡 Please note: Teddy bears and large toy trucks are not needed this year.
🎁 Gift vouchers are also welcome. Let’s Give can then purchase any items they’re short of.
C’mon 4074 & Beyond lets FILL this trailer and let others know we are a giving community.
All items will be sorted next week by students @ Centenary State High School.

With just 4 days to go until the 38th Annual Centenary Community Carols 🎄🎶 a big thank you to our organising team led by the Centenary Salvos, ISEE Church Brisbane West and Riverlife Baptist Church for all the work they put in behind the scenes 😊

Special mention also to our host St Catherine's United Football Club Inc and their team of volunteers who do an amazing job each year 🙌

🎅 Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday with a big line up of family friendly activities & market stalls starting from 3:30pm, performances on stage from approximately 5:30pm, followed by the carols beginning at 6:45pm and fireworks around 8:15pm.
