Assalamualaikum everyone,

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we would like to inform the community that unfortunately we will not be organising the Eid al-Adha prayer at Craigieburn Sprint this year.

The venue has been booked for athletic events, and despite our efforts to find an alternative field through the council, we were advised that available venues could only accommodate up to 250 people, with limited parking and traffic concerns as well.

As this is an open community event and based on previous years’ attendance, we believe the number of attendees would exceed the allowed capacity.

After careful discussion, the committee has made the difficult decision not to proceed with organising the Eid prayer this year.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and thank everyone for your understanding and continued support. Insha Allah, we hope to organise it again next year.

Assalamualaikum Bro,
Last Friday, someone blocked the gate at Highgate Craigieburn during prayer.
Please do not do it. If anyone witnesses someone parking their cars there, please inform them not to park there.
We know you are late and need to pray Jumaa, but if this continues and the council stops us from using the place, you will be responsible for the other 300 Jemaah for not having a place to conduct their Friday Prayer in the future.
Please help us and help the Jemaah so that we can continue using Highgate Craigieburn for Friday Prayer.

Starting this week, we will be back to Craigieburn Highgate (Clubhouse) for our Friday (Jumu’ah) Prayer:

📍 Address: 229 Grand Boulevard, Craigieburn VIC 3064
🕐 Khutbah will begin at 1:30 PM (fixed throughout the year)

Please take note:
• No sisters’ space available
• Please park at designated car parks only (do not block entrances/exits or double park)
• Kindly perform wudhu at home
• Please bring your own prayer mat
