Burleigh Community Men's Shed The Burleigh Community Men's Shed is a space for blokes to socialise, build stuff and learn. We have a relaxed focus on Men's Health and good humour.

The Australian Men’s Sheds Association recognises a Men’s Shed as any community-based, non-profit, non-commercial organisation that is accessible to all men and whose primary activity is the provision of a safe, friendly and healing environment where men are able to work on meaningful projects at their own pace in their own time in the company of other men. A major objective is to advance the well-being and health of their male members and to encourage social inclusion.

🇦🇺 Thank you for the shoutout and for recognising National Flag Day!
Our members were proud to put their woodworking skills to use creating the flagpole stand for your electorate office. It's great to see our work on display and know it's helping fly the flag high in Burleigh.
Projects like this are exactly what our Shed is about — bringing members together to build skills, community, and a few great stories along the way. Thanks again for the support and for thinking of us!

Happy National Flag Day!

Today marks 125 years of the Australian National Flag, first flown in 1901 after its design was chosen through a public competition.

A big thank you to the Burleigh Community Men's Shed for making the fantastic flagpoles proudly displayed in my electorate office.
