Essendon North Primary School has been part of the Peninsula Outdoors community for over 10 years now!!

They keep coming back for the balance between structured learning, student engagement, and the way every student is genuinely looked after during their time at camp 🏕.

From the early planning stages right through to the final activity, our team works closely with teachers to make camp feel smooth, supportive, and easy.

What teachers appreciate most about our school camps is being able to stay present with their students while we take care of everything behind the scenes.

Back in 2022–23, Peninsula Outdoors opened its doors to volunteers who came from Germany during their gap year 🌿.

They learned everything about our site and camp life: from housekeeping and the kitchen to activities, gardening, and maintenance.

One of them was Stella.

This year, she came all the way back from Germany to visit, and ended up working with us for a week.

It was so fulfilling to see her jump straight into activities and use the skills and leadership she developed while she was with us, it felt like she never left.

We were so, so happy to see you again, Stella. Thank you for your hard work 💚.

This is what being offline looks like 🌿.

Introducing our 4 cabins for families or friends to stay in whilst exploring the Mornington Peninsula.

A place where mornings start slow, days are spent outside, and no one’s really in a rush to be anywhere.

Each cabin has its own comfy space, and just outside you’ll find a basketball court, gaga pit, volleyball court, and a big open oval, the kind of setup that naturally turns into games, laughs, or just relaxing contemplating nature 💚.
