Navigating pandemic restrictions and working with low numbers the past few years has been a long and challenging time. Our vollies have been there serving faithfully serving week in, week out without fail. 💪🌟. This holiday season we will be taking a break from daily service in our food relief program to allow our team to rest, recover and celebrate for the week between Christmas and the New Year ❤️. Our Earth Village Opshop team will power on, with rest and breaks throughout the EVOP team later in January 2023📆.
We are aware that this time of year is often challenging for people requiring access to food relief services as many services close, so this year we will be giving out pre-prepared staples boxes ahead of the closure period to help those most in need. During the week of Christmas, from Wednesday 21st December - Friday 23rd December our free meal will be Christmas themed and continue being served as takeaway only.
We wish you all an encouraging time of joy, hope and holiday spirit as we remember the reason for this season: the birth of Jesus Christ as God who came to earth to save and restore relationship with God and all humanity for then, now and all eternity.
