MELTON — CAN YOU LEND A HAND?

We’re looking for volunteers to help Uncle Bobs Club (UBC) run a sausage sizzle before and during Paul Sadler Swimland Melton’s Adult Open Day on Saturday 24 October!

It’s a great opportunity to get involved in your local community, meet new people and help raise funds for children’s health and wellbeing. Every helping hand makes a difference!

Due to an incident beyond our control, there has been a late change in venue. Our Little Groovers Silent Disco will now be held at:

Botanica Springs Children’s and Community Centre
249 Clarkes Road, Brookfield VIC 3338

Please make sure you update your plans and do not attend the previous venue.

The session times remains unchanged.

I C Y M I: Not every child experiences a birthday party, school disco, or community event in the same way.

For many neurodivergent children, environments that are loud, crowded, or unpredictable can be overwhelming, meaning they often miss out on experiences that many families take for granted.

That's why we are proud to present UBC's Little Groovers Silent Disco, a one-of-a-kind, sensory-friendly community event designed specifically for children aged 4–12 years and their families.

With wireless headphones, adjustable volume, multiple music channels, a calm sensory space, and an inclusive environment, Little Groovers has been thoughtfully created so every child can enjoy the magic of dancing, laughing, and celebrating in a way that feels safe and comfortable.

This isn't just another children's event.
It's about belonging.
It's about inclusion.
It's about ensuring every child has the opportunity to create joyful memories with their family.

We’re excited to share that an amazing $335 was raised through our Lucky Dip fundraiser in conjunction with Paul Sadler Swimland Melton's Practice for Summer Week.

Community Collaboration for a Great Cause 💙

Uncle Bobs Club - Western Suburbs Group teamed up with Momentum Community Connections to deliver a fundraising sausage sizzle at Paul Salder Swimland Melton, raising fundsin support of Western Health.

We are pleased to annouce that we raised $800 and are well on our way to reach our goal of $12,000 to purchase vital medical equipement for paediatric healthcare.

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, donated and stopped by to support us. Community partnerships like these make a real difference and bring us one step closer to improving health outcomes for local children and families.
