Spleen Australia aims to use social media to share information on how to prevent serious infection in people living without a functioning spleen. It is intended to be a place for respectful interaction. The page will be run according to the following guidelines:

From May 15th, all Australians aged 75 years and over, and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians aged 60 years and over, will be eligible to receive a free RSV vaccine (Arexvy). Great news for preventing serious illness this winter. See your GP or participating pharmacy for more information.
