Become a part off history! Players wanted!

The city of Casey’s first ever Women’s cricket team playing in the Women’s Comminity Cricket Competition.

All ages required. No experience needed.

Uniform provided for free. No equipment necessary, we have it all.

Come and have some fun.

Play Sunday afternoons both one day and T20 matches only.

Come down to our club at 5pm this Friday for training and give it a go.

Strathaird Reserve, 38 Community Parade, Narre Warren South.

Junior Cricket Announcement!

We are very excited to announce the first-time appointment of James Perkins as the coach of the U10s div3 Yellow side.

James started playing senior cricket with Narre South last season after Kade his older son started playing cricket with us 2 seasons ago.

Now with the Perkins family in their 3rd season at the Lions, Shea is playing U10s with us and James will bring a wealth of cricket knowledge and experience to our young lion cubs as they step into club cricket and start their club cricket journey.

We would like to thank James for his commitment to our club. Please join us in congratulating James on his appointment and wish him well for the season ahead.

Junior Coaching announcement!

The club wishes to welcome back Peter Thomson to the coaching fold at Narre South CC, taking on the U16s div3 this season. Peter is a loyal club person and a valued club sponsor as the owner of OJM Property Maintenance.

We are thrilled to have someone of his experience take on a coaching role again after coaching his older sons team for a couple seasons. Peter also loved being at our club that much, he pulled on the whites after more than a decade and has played the last 2 seasons in seniors.

Please congratulate Pete on the appointment and we thank Peter for his continued commitment to our club and look forward to him coaching for many years to come.

We are Back!!!

Training starts this coming Monday 25/10 so dust the cobwebs of that kit and see if it all still fits. Strict training times apply so please arrive early to give yourself enough time to login to the venue. Please remember Covid Protocols apply so only club officials and players are allowed in the training areas (nets and grounds) during these sessions.

Junior Coaching Announcement!

We are very happy to announce the re-appointment of U10s div3 - Navy coach Leigh Webster. He did a fantastic job last season with our young lions, with some players from Leighs team last year still wanting him to coach them even though they are now U12s!

Leithal is a great clubman who goes out of his way to help juniors whether it be coaching or mentoring juniors in senior matches. We are very lucky to have such a dedicated volunteer and all-round nice guy.

Junior Coaching Announcement!

We are very excited to announce the appointment of co-coaches Andrew Harman and Matthew Neep for the U14s div3 side. Matt and Andrew co-coached one of our U12s sides last season and as their kids move up the age groups they will continue on their coaching journey together.

Matt and Andrew have a passion for coaching and it shows in the development of their young lions last season. Matt has been with us now for many years both as a club cricket coach and many years as a coach/coordinator in out Cricket Blast programs.

Junior Coaching Announcement!

We are very excited to confirm the appointment of Vivek Thadani as our U10s div1 GOLD team (we have 2x U10s div1 teams) coach this season. Vivek coached out U10s div2 team last season and I know the little lions had a blast and their development was fantastic.

Vivek is a fellow cricket tragic like all of us who loves the game and even more loves seeing the kids run around playing it. The future is definitely in great hands with coaches like Vivek and all the U10s coaches.

Junior Coaching Announcement!

We are very excited to announce Ravindra Pillay will be coaching this seasons U18s All Girls team. Ravi has 2 daughters who have played at our club both in the All Girls and U14s divisions.

Ravi and his family have been great supporters of our club, always offering to help where possible and Ravi is a cricket tragic like the rest of us, who is even considering donning the whites for our club as a senior himself this season.

Ravi tells us he has "big shoes to fill" after the great man Matt Balcombe informed the club he was unable to coach this season due to work commitments and want the best for his talented lions.

Matt has been involved and coached our All Girls teams for the last 5 years and was a big part in developing the program we have today. We thank Matt for his outstanding commitment to our club and this group of talented young lions.
