❄️🫖 Winter Afternoon Tea at Chelsea Occasional Care 🫖❄️

Pop on your winter woollies and join us for a cosy afternoon of friendship, laughter, and delicious treats at our Winter Afternoon Tea!

We’d love families to bring along a plate of winter-themed food to share as we celebrate together and enjoy some special social time with old and new friends. ☕🍪❄️

Children are encouraged to dress up in their favourite winter-themed outfits or magical costumes — we can’t wait to see all the snowy sparkle, princesses, snowflakes, and winter adventurers! ✨❄️👑

And that’s not all… we’ve heard a very special guest may be stopping by to say hello and have some fun with the children! 👑💙 Rumour has it she’s travelled from a frosty kingdom where ice castles appear overnight and the cold never bothered her anyway… 😉❄️

As we wave goodbye to 2025, our hearts are full of gratitude 💛

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible educators for your dedication, passion and the love you pour into our children every single day. You create a warm, safe and nurturing space, and we are so lucky to have you 🌈

To our amazing parent and carer volunteers who make up our committee (not all pictured) — quite simply, without you there is no occasional care. Thank you for your time, effort and commitment to this wonderful organisation we are all part of. From organising and staffing fundraisers, managing and booking our community room, overseeing finances, suggesting new purchases and centre upgrades, organising community days and events, running our social media and so much more… we truly would be lost without you 🙌

Thank you for everything you’ve given in 2025 and for your continued dedication into 2026. And to our wider community — our committee is always open to other parents and carers… the more the merrier! 💫

We wish all our families a happy, safe and relaxing New Year 🎉 We cannot wait to open our doors again on Monday 5th January, with an exciting summer program planned that we know the children will love ☀️🌊

We’ve spent all week saying goodbye to our friends…for a little while.

From all of us to all of you, we hope that you have a safe, fun, peaceful, crazy, joyous time over the Festive Season. We’re courting down until our space is filled with giggles, footsteps, laughter and fun again! 🎅✨ Santa made a special stop at Chelsea Occasional Care this afternoon — even in the summer heat! ☀️❤️
The children’s faces lit up as he arrived, and we’re pretty sure the excitement could be heard from the North Pole!

A big thank-you to Emma, who made a very important call to Santa yesterday to let him know that all our little ones have been helpful, kind, sharing, and truly ‘nice’ members of our community this year. 🌟

Thank you, Santa, for braving the warm afternoon and making our Christmas party extra magical. We’ll be smiling about this visit for a long time! 🎄💫
