Australia is facing yet another potentially catastrophic bushfire season.

The Business Council’s natural-disaster arm, BizRebuild, stands ready to assist small businesses impacted by natural disasters.

BizRebuild is big business supporting small business - because we know that local businesses are the lifeblood of regional Australia, they are the glue that keeps communities together.

From the Black Summer Bushfires, to the unprecedented floods in New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria, BizRebuild has donated around $10 million to help support impacted communities.

None of this would have been possible without the support of our members and corporate Australia.

BizRebuild, together with the business community, will continue to step up and be there for Australia’s local businesses when the need arises.

Today, the Bureau of Meteorology officially declared an El Nino event.

This means a hotter and drier summer for most of Australia, and an increased likelihood of bushfires.

BizRebuild stands ready to assist small businesses should they need help following a natural disaster.

Established by the Business Council of Australia following the black summer bushfires, BizRebuild is a business-led initiative to provide practical and on the ground assistance to small and local businesses left devastated by natural disaster.

To date, BizRebuild has provided around $10 million to small businesses right across the country.
