WIT Security is looking for security officers to join our growing retail security team in the Melbourne C*D.

Regular, permanent work available.

What we're looking for:
•⁠ ⁠Current Victorian security licence
•⁠ ⁠⁠Retail security experience preferred but not essential
•⁠ ⁠Reliable, professional, and well-presented
•⁠ ⁠Someone who takes pride in representing our clients

This past Sunday saw a big AFLW double header at Ikon Park - Richmond vs Fremantle, followed by Carlton vs Collingwood.

Two great games, a strong crowd, and another fantastic showcase for the women's game in Melbourne.

WIT was on the ground across the day ensuring both matches ran safely and smoothly for players, staff, and supporters from first bounce to last. Always a privilege to be part of days like this, where the competition and the community comes together.

With the Socceroos' World Cup campaign coming to an end a week ago, and the tournament now entering its final days, it's a good moment to look back on what was involved behind the scenes for the WIT team.

Over the course of the tournament, our team was at Federation Square for every public viewing. Early mornings, full days, whatever the schedule demanded, the team showed up and made sure thousands of fans could enjoy the football safely.

Our guys helped make sure Fed Square stayed exactly what it was meant to be, a place for Melbourne to come together and support the Socceroos.

To every member of the WIT team who worked those shifts, thank you.

Thank you to the team at Fed Square for the partnership throughout the tournament. It was great to be part of something this special.

And to the Socceroos - thank you for the ride. Proud to have played our part in it.

This past weekend, the WIT team was on the ground at Federation Square for the public viewing of Australia vs. Turkey, and what a day it was.

Thousands of passionate supporters packed Fed Square to watch the Socceroos take care of business, winning 2-0 in front of an electric atmosphere in the heart of Melbourne.

Our team worked hard to make sure every single person there could enjoy that moment safely and without disruption. Crowd management, barrier control, working alongside Victoria Police - everything that goes on behind the scenes so the fans can simply focus on the football.

Proud of the team for the professionalism they showed on the day. This is what we do.

This past Sunday, South Melbourne FC hosted Altona Magic in a double-header - U23s and Senior Men's fixtures at what turned out to be a brilliant afternoon of football.

A great advertisement for the competition - Altona Magic down 2-0 at half time, coming back to win 3-2 in a match that had everyone on their feet until the final whistle.

WIT was on the ground ensuring the day ran safely and smoothly for players, officials, and supporters from start to finish. Proud to play our part in events like this.

From the biggest stages to the local competitions that matter just as much to the communities behind them.

A week to Remember at the Avalon International Air Show ✈️

What an incredible few weeks at one of Australia’s most iconic events, the 2025 Avalon International Airshow.

A massive thank you to our hardworking WIT team who showed up with unmatched professionalism, energy, and dedication to ensure the event ran safely and smoothly from start to finish. 💪

From managing large crowds to ensuring asset protection and smooth operations across the entire venue, every team member played a crucial role in making this event a success.

We’d also like to say a huge thanks to the event organisers and partners, The AMDA, for their trust and collaboration during this massive show. It’s always an honour to work alongside industry leaders to help bring world-class events to life.
