We talk a lot about independence.
But we rarely talk about what it costs.
Social cohesion doesnât come from everyone âhaving it together.â
It comes from people recognizing that their lives are connected â
that care, trust, and responsibility move both ways.
Interdependence isnât dependence.
Itâs the system that allows societies to function, adapt, and recover.
Especially in migration, where social ties are disrupted,
rebuilding belonging isnât a weakness â itâs a necessity.
The question isnât âdo I need anyone?â
Itâs âwhere am I avoiding connection in the name of self-protection?â
Sit with that one.
