I recorded Space Oddity a few years ago… and just sat on it.

Because for me, this song was never about space.

It was about isolation.

That feeling of being untethered… disconnected…
like I was floating without direction.

And then in March this year… something shifted.

I spent time on Necker Island with “Igniting Change” and some incredible people… including Richard Branson and astronaut Cady Coleman — a woman who has actually lived this experience.

Hearing her speak about Earth from space…
its fragility, its beauty, its unity…

something in me changed.

I shared this song with her… and she said I should release it.

So that’s what I’m doing.

Because maybe this song was never about being lost…

maybe it was always about perspective.

There are moments in every creative journey when the path ahead seems impossibly steep. As I developed “The Songbook of My Heart,” those moments visited me like faithful companions, sometimes whispering doubts, sometimes shouting them.

I remember sitting in the studio, wondering if I was capable of bringing this vision to life. Each morning, I returned to my rituals, walking in nature, journalling, sitting in the quiet spaces where clarity emerges.

These weren’t just wellness practices but essential foundations for the creative courage I needed to summon.

What began as a musical tribute evolved into something more profound, a testament to reclaiming one’s voice after seasons of silence.

I am so proud to share a piece of me, and I hope this resonates with you.
