The warm Kiwi hospitality continued when our friends at Urban Development Institute of New Zealand UDINZ hosted a networking evening featuring a lively panel discussion on ‘Intensification and infrastructure: a match made in heaven?’

Study tour organising committee members, andrea tomkinson from Tomkinson and Guy Williamson from Growland, shared their experiences from the Australian context, alongside UDINZ board members, Campbell McGregor from Harrison Grierson and Anthony Smith from Fletcher Living.

The conclusion: delivering infrastructure in established areas is more complex than policymakers often assume. Communities also need to see successful examples of apartment living and more intense development to understand their benefits - something that remains challenging in the current environment on both sides of the Tasman.

Our sincere thanks to the UDINZ members who joined us, to Adrienne L. Miller for her exceptional organisation, and to Harrison Grierson for their generous hospitality.

The UDIA Victoria - partnership continues to grow across borders!

We were thrilled to spend the evening in Auckland with Nick Goodall, Sarah Corner and the team. Over a stunning dinner at the Botswana Butchery, overlooking the harbour and its ferries, Nick delivered a state-of-the-market update and shared his insights for the year ahead. It was fascinating to hear the many parallels with the Victorian market - including an upcoming election.

UDIA Victoria sincerely thanks Cotality for their generous hospitality. We value our long-standing partnership and look forward to further collaboration.
