This is Nina she is one of twin. We notice mum was head butting her away but letting the other twin drink. We kept checking on her and when it started to get dark, mum was still pushing her away so we took her in.
What a cutie and so tiny. We warmed her up and gave her colostrum. Nina didn’t take long to accept the bottle and is thriving.

From our visiting sheep who we call the Wildies have been giving birth to mainly twins.
So far we have had two pass away but the others are doing well and causing the mums stress by running away and playing.

We are a bit behind in up dating our page. Lambing is in full swing and it has been so wet and cold.

Two weeks ago we responded to a lovely lady who put a call out on fb for her twin lambs.

Both came into care.
The first one we named Clover and the second one Angel. We like to give all baby an identity.

Little Clover was actively dying so we just held her and kept her warm until she passed away which was 10-15 minutes later.

We had more hope that Angel might survive. So we got her warmed up gave her colostrum. 12 hours later she was deteriorating and passed away 6am the following morning.

Although heartbreaking I’m glad they were warm and being held while they passed. They both didn’t leave our arms until they had gone.

Bit late to post but
Happy 1st birthday to our Precious Eloise for the 28th of July !
Eloise is very personalised girly, she never leaves your side and always want to have a cuddle. She is also very demanding and makes sure she is the first one to have some pellets. Even if it means baaing out for you to come outside and feed her at the time she thinks it should be done.
She is such a loving and playful girl
Eloise had a rough start to life and was so clever to come out of the trees so we saw her and to ask for help. love you baby girl

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY MISHKA
Mishy moo is our first baby to make it to 1 years old!! With all the odds stacked against her and being blind, SHE DID IT!
Mishka is a very easy going, very talkative, inquisitive and loving girl. She loves a good scratch and gives the boys some cheek with little head butts. Her favourite food is gumnuts when snuck to her over lamb pellets. She always tries to demand for more. Mishka has paired up with Rachie and we always find them eating together
