Pre-Conference sessions
This year, we will have 3 Pre-Conference sessions on Wednesday, 22nd of July
The two options below can be paired for a full day; both are pay-as-you-feel on the day, but registration is required.
1) 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Wildflower Restoration at Iramoo Grassland: Take a tour of Iramoo Wildflower Grassland Reserve – home of the Striped Legless Lizard in the west of Melbourne.
2) 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Critical Allyship: Towards Cultural Safety: Developed within the Moondani Balluk Indigenous Unit at VU, the Critical Allyship training program aims to build skills and knowledge in professionals that work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities regarding ethical engagement and collaboration.
3) 10:00 am - 3:30 pm. Benefit Risk Principles, Planning, & Practice Workshop. (Free to attend-registration required). This session aims to explore the understanding of risk-benefit approaches and provide practical insights to support confident decision-making in principals, planning, and practice.
