We're excited for Primavera TONIGHT! We've partnered with Preston Market for our third edition 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒂, as part of Darebin FUSE Festival, Darebin's multi-arts festival.

Join us for a special night market featuring 14 incredible Latin American artists and creatives, live music, food, kids activities, and entertainment from 6pm - 9pm, including a set from Bellaqueo's DJ's Zafiro and Mad Rhythm from 6pm and traditional Cueca dancing from 7pm. Come down and support our artists from 6pm. 🔥

Fuego stokes our internal fire, fight, heat and light, elevating the voices and experiences of Latinx artists in Australia, and we’re bringing the event to Northcote, for Chuleo Club's Tardeando residency at High Note next Thursday 🔥

Appearing at Fuego is Suzanne Hermanoczki. Suzanne is a Meanjin/ Brisbane-born, Naarm/ Melbourne-based award-winning writer, creative writing teacher and academic, of Argentine and Hungarian descent. Her work on post/memories, im/migrants, code-switching, gringos and identity, have been published locally and internationally. She holds a PhD, Masters and Postgraduate degrees in Creative Writing. She is co-director of Writing Days.

Warm up this winter with local Latin literature on Thursday August 27th. Limited tickets available, so make sure to book via the link in our bio!

Meet our next incredible artist for Primavera Latinx Artist Market, ✨🙌🏽😍

El is a Chilean and Eelam Tamil creative working on Bunurong Country, creating lino prints spreading important political messages in the form of fun-sized pieces of art. They speak to the need for trans and Indigenous rights in America Latina. ✊🏽

In celebration of Springtime (Primavera), we will come together on Saturday November 15 for a beautiful day of performances, weaving and reading workshops, a market of 19 local Latin American creatives, makers and food vendors, two DJs, delicious food by Papelon, and much more at and Balam Balam place, Brunswick.
