Rainbow Dads Victoria Rainbow Dads Victoria is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting GBTQIA+ families in Victoria, Australia.

We provide a safe and inclusive space for rainbow dads and their children to connect, build community, and access resources and support Rainbow Dads Victoria (RDV) is an incorporated association serving the rainbow dad community across Victoria. Our core vision and purpose includes Social Connection, Child-Centric Activities, Outreach and Advocacy, and Community Partnerships. We aim to ensure that

every rainbow dad across Victoria has access to support, resources, and community connections. We host various social events and activities specifically designed for children of rainbow dads, fostering a sense of belonging. These include social events, playgroups, and family weekenders. We also recognise the increasing need for outreach and advocacy to address challenges faced by rainbow dads and the lack of dedicated support services. This includes actively reaching out to new and prospective dads. RDV is committed to building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with other LGBTQIA+ organisations and community groups. Our activities and initiatives are led by a dedicated team of volunteers. We welcome opportunities for collaboration where appropriate

Evening All! Hope you have all had a wonderful Labour Day Weekend. Just wanted to remind you all about our next upcoming event.

🎮 *Game On @ Fortress!* 🎮

We’re wrapping up the school holidays with something a little different - an afternoon at Fortress Melbourne that’s just as much for the gamer dads as it is for the kids!

🗓 Saturday 18th April

📍 Fortress Melbourne
🎟 $10 per ticket (kids and adults) - Registration essential

It’s the last weekend of the school holidays, so whether you’re looking for one final outing with the kids - or a bit of a dad’s afternoon out - this one ticks both boxes.

We’ve secured private console booths, giving us our own space to game together. Kids can squad up and do their thing. Dads can jump in, start their own game, grab a drink or some food, or just hang out. There’s also PC play, arcades and board games available. There really is something for almost anyone.

If you’ve never been to Fortress before, this is the perfect opportunity to check it out with a relaxed, like-minded crew.

Whether it turns into tweens vs dads, kids carrying their parents, or parallel gaming sessions with good chat in between - we’ve got a feeling this one’s going to be a great afternoon.

Hi VistaPrint team,

We’re reaching out publicly in the hope of some allyship and a little local help during Pride season in Victoria.

We’ve ordered t-shirts for the Midsumma Festival for our Rainbow Dads community. We’ve been advised they’re being produced in Melbourne (Derrimut) and will be ready tomorrow (Friday), but are scheduled to be posted and won’t arrive until Monday, the day after the march.

We’ve tried resolving this privately, but haven’t yet been able to connect with someone who can help us think flexibly about the situation.

This Sunday, 40+ dads and our families are planning to march together in the 2025 Midsumma Pride March. For many of us, this is about showing up visibly, proudly, and together as parents during Pride. The shirts really matter to our sense of belonging on the day.

If it’s possible to allow collection from Derrimut before dispatch, it would mean a great deal to our community and would be a powerful show of allyship during Pride Month.

We’d be very grateful if someone from the Vistaprint Australia team could comment or DM us so we can sort this out quickly.
