Lotus Group Projects Inc is a coordinated self-help/ mutual support collective of people most of whom identify with having a neurological impairment but supporters are also welcome to join.
When funding allows Lotus Group offers community awareness raising workshops and projects promoting inner peace and displaying the skills of people with disabilities.
The group meets fortnightly providing mutual support in Ross House 247 Flinders Lane not far from Flinders Street Station.
Lotus Group is coordinated by a tertiary qualified and experienced coordinator, also a self-advocate, who encourages and supports group members to participate and take leadership roles, including self-advocacy, when participating in project development teams.
Group members improve skills and grow greater self-confidence from shared group participation.
There is no cost to attend and this will continue throughout 2023.

Lotus Group Projects Inc is a member of Collective of Self-Help Groups (COSHG) who provide advice and support for the group.
The venue for Lotus Group sessions and events is Ross House which is the only self-managed and community owned not-for-profit building in Melbourne and has been an important part of the social justice and environment community in Melbourne since 1987 and is a place for community groups to grow, connect and evolve.
