Turns out our researchers have a few tricks up their lab coats. ✨🔬

While their days are spent tackling some of the biggest challenges in health and medical research, every now and then there's room for a little fun too 😉

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Share the Dignity Founder and Managing Director, Rochelle Courtenay, to Hudson Institute for a behind-the-scenes tour of our laboratories. 🔬

Travelling all the way from Queensland, Rochelle met with researchers working across fertility and endometriosis learning more about how innovative research is advancing our understanding of women's health. Much of this work explores the potential of menstrual fluid to improve diagnosis, support healing and unlock new discoveries in healthcare.

We are inspired by the incredible impact Share the Dignity continues to make for women and girls across Australia. While we're tackling different challenges, we share a common goal: ensuring all menstruating people have access to the care, support and dignity they deserve.

Menstrual health is a right, not a privilege. Through research, advocacy and awareness, we're proud to be working towards a future of greater menstrual equity for all.

Thank you, Rochelle, for taking the time to visit us and for the extraordinary work you continue to do. We hope to see you back at the institute soon! ❤️

Help us change the future for people living with ( ), a chronic and often debilitating condition that causes ongoing inflammation in the digestive tract. 👩🏼‍🔬

At Hudson Institute, our researchers are uncovering how gut bacteria, immune responses and the body's repair mechanisms contribute to intestinal inflammation. By understanding the drivers of disease, we're working towards more precise treatments that address the root causes of IBD, not just its symptoms. 🔬

Your support can help accelerate these discoveries and bring new treatments closer to the people who need them most. Your generosity 💝 fuels the research 🧪 that could transform lives. today: https://bit.ly/3S7NB0O

Charlotte was only nine years old when she was diagnosed with ( ).

Since then, she has endured hospital stays, ongoing treatments and the daily uncertainty of living with a painful, incurable disease. While other children were enjoying carefree childhoods, Charlotte was learning how to manage a condition that can turn her life upside down without warning. ❤️‍🩹

No child should have to face that.

At Hudson Institute, our researchers are working to uncover the causes of IBD and develop better treatments, bringing hope to children like Charlotte. 🧪

Few people in the world know as much about ( ) as Professor Sam Forster. 🌏

His lab's research combines expertise in , and computational biology to understand the function of the , the microbial communities that exist inside every human gut, and its role in IBD (among other diseases). 🧫

"With more funding, we can build on fundamental discoveries in IBD biology, test our findings across larger patient cohorts, and use emerging technologies to identify which bacterial therapies are most likely to benefit individual patients." - Professor Sam Forster

Please donate today and help us accelerate our discoveries, and move promising treatments closer to the patients who desperately need them. Visit the link in our bio!

At Hudson Institute, researchers are uncovering new ways to understand and treat ( ). 🧫

By studying the gut microbiome, immune responses and tissue repair, our teams are investigating what drives intestinal inflammation — and how to stop it.

We’re identifying bacteria that may trigger or protect against IBD, while developing regenerative therapies to repair damaged tissue.

This research is bringing us closer to treatments that target the causes of IBD, not just the symptoms.
