What is Ho Om Me?

‘Ho Om Me’ is a temporary and contemporary collaboration between local artists that encompasses a number of cultural aspects through the experience of space, sound and art focused on the theme of ‘Identity’. Set in the heart of the busy web of scattered energy, Ho Om Me will be a momentary relief, balancing for the mind and body. Built and managed by local artists, the space wil

l be exhibiting a range of art works run by art residencies from Melbourne. It will also host full days of empowering talks, discussions, and workshops covering the topic of ‘identity’ through cultural, technological, social, political and environmental aspects. It will be centred on the concept of the ‘Tea House’, a shared cultural experience that serves as a tool for social interaction. At night, Ho Om Me invites Melbourne’s finest up and coming musicians on stage to fill the space with the sounds of different cultural environments.
