Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Service 18th August 2026.

Vietnam Veterans’ Day recognises the invaluable contribution of Australians who served and sacrificed in the Vietnam War. This years' service marks the 60th anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan. In this battle D Coy, 6RAR fought an overwhelming enemy force suffering 24 casualties, including 18 killed.
We honour the men and women who served during the Vietnam War, and to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our nation.

Today is an opportunity to reflect on the cost of conflict, to remember those who did not return, and to recognise those who carried the burdens of war long after their service ended.

May we honour their legacy through our remembrance, our respect, and our commitment to supporting those who have served.

The Australian Nurses Memorial Centre ANZAC Commemorative Service will be held on Sunday 19th April 2026 commencing at 2:00pm at the Memorial for Nurses located at Fawkner Towers forecourt, 431 St Kilda Road, Melbourne VIC 3004.
We invite you to lay a wreath or flowers on behalf of your family or organisation in memory of all the nurses who served. RSVP via our calendar.
The ANMC will lay a Collaborative Wreath, to which you may contribute through a donation to the ANMC Scholarship Fund.
