NEW PUBLICATION ALERT

Congratulations to PhD candidate Tiffany Lo for publishing the first paper from her PhD earlier this month!

Tiffany’s thesis examined sleep and driving outcomes in older adults with and without cognitive complaints and mild cognitive impairment.

Tiffany’s paper showed that sleepiness symptoms are associated with adverse driving behaviour in older adults at risk of dementia (Subjective Cognitive Decline and Mild Cognitive Impairment). Our finding suggests that implementing early intervention to encourage monitoring of driving and sleepiness may support continued driving in older adults with memory complaints.
