Rotary Prahran is a vibrant, active group of 25 men & women aged from 28 to 80 with new (mainly younger!) members joining every month. We run a sewing & knitting class "Rotary Sews" for adults from the area, provide mobility aids to needy people via various community health services (RAMP aka Rotary Aiding Mobility Program), we help with reading at Toorak Primary School, sponsor disadvantaged kids
on various camps & programs at Windsor Primary, we've just set up RIMERN (Rotary Inner Melbourne Emergency Relief Network) in East Brunswick & are working with 10 other Rotary clubs to provide household needs to clients of relief agencies. We helped build toilets in 6 Indian Schools & East Timor (so that girls can complete their education) and a fresh water project in the Philippines, and like all Rotarians we are helping to eradicate polio in the world! We have fun, make new friends, provide leadership training and personal development training for youth & members alike, and along the way we operate with integrity and high ethical standards. If you believe that "if you've done well you should do good" come & check us out on a tuesday meeting, either at dinner or via zoom. We need volunteers & are always open to welcoming new members who want to make a difference & 'do good in the world'. Contact us via our page or website, www.rotaryprahran.org.au
