One week to go until World Drowning Prevention Day.

On 25 July, communities around the world will come together to recognise World Drowning Prevention Day and raise awareness that drowning is preventable.

At Surf Life Saving Australia, our mission is to turn the tide on coastal drownings. Every day, our volunteers and members help keep Australians safe through education, prevention and rescue - but everyone has a role to play.

This World Drowning Prevention Day, take a moment to refresh your water safety knowledge, learn CPR, supervise children around water and always know the conditions before you head out.
