(VORRA), is an Off Road Racing Club and a fully affiliated member of both the Motorsport Australia and Australia Off Road Racing Association (AORRA). Off Roading is an exciting and adrenalin filled discipline of motor sport and an increasing number of competitors are taking up the challenge. Vehicles include off road buggies, production 2WD and 4WD (performance and extreme) and SXS vehicles. Event
s test drivers, co drivers, navigators and their vehicles over different track conditions. These are often narrow, consist of mud and creek crossings, gravel pits, open paddocks, undulating land, tight bush tracks, long sandy straights, jumps and some very rough terrain. Race lengths total between 50kms and 500kms. There is club, state and national events, with races held throughout Victoria and other states, and often involve a weekend away camping with family and friends. VORRA conducts its own Club Championship each year, over several rounds, at various tracks throughout the state. Club events are usually held on one day, on shorter tracks, about 2-10kms per lap. State and national events are often held over two days, with the lap distance varying from 10-80kms in length, totaling anywhere between 200kms to 500kms per race.
