🌈 STAY & PLAY AT KEW TOY LIBRARY! 🌈

Did you know Kew Toy Library runs FREE fortnightly Stay & Play sessions for children aged 1–4 years?

Join us on fortnightly Thursday mornings from 9.30am–11.30am for themed play featuring toys, games, activities and stories in a warm and welcoming environment. Our sessions are bilingual in English and Mandarin, with plenty of opportunities for children to explore, play and learn.

Get ready for Book Week with Kew Toy Library!

👑 Borrow a costume for your child’s favourite book character.
🎒 Borrow a book bag to complete the experience.

Not into dressing up? No problem! Our Book Bags include a wonderful storybook paired with interactive figurines or puppets, making storytime even more engaging and helping your little one learn through play. They’re a fantastic way to bring books to life and encourage imagination, language, and a love of reading.

Whether they’re dressing up as a favourite character or enjoying an interactive story at home, we’ve got something for every family this Book Week.

Don’t leave it until the last minute—visit the toy library and find the perfect Book Week borrow before they’re all snapped up!

✨HANDY TOY BORROWING REMINDERS ✨

Whether you’re a new or long term member we know that sometimes it’s hard to remember the ins and outs of toy borrowing so we’ve made a handy guide you can save for later 😊

Our Handy Reminders
When you borrow a toy, remember to check the pieces against the toy list

If anything doesn’t look right or is missing, get in touch by email to let us know

Clean toys before return to get them ready for the next borrower.
Tip: clean the night before so everything’s fully dry before it goes back in its packaging.

Do one last piece count before return.
If something’s missing, just let us know when you return the toy.

If you’ve been considering joining the toy library but weren’t sure what is involved in taking toys home it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!

If you’ve been wondering whether this one is worth a borrow, let this be your sign to check it out! 👀

“This is a noughts-and-crosses variation that is easy to learn but tricky to master. Simply select a block with noughts or crosses and place it at the end of the row or column, pushing the existing blocks up one place. It requires no reading so is suitable for younger children just starting out on strategy games. The components are of high quality, with satisfying-feeling wooden blocks. It takes only a few minutes to play, like the original nought-and-crosses, but we have never had a tie, despite playing the game many times. That’s a win in my book!”
