Another great boys weekend done, but i cant say much cause we all know what happens on the boys weekend stays on the boys weekend! I can say this though. A good friend of one of our members has a niece in Canada who is battling a rare form of cancer. She is only 11.
The boys decided to try and raise some money by auctioning off donated items and getting their heads shaved! Craig donated bacon so they did bacon sandwiches for $5 each.
Gills wife Joy made and donated a gorgeous dog that will be sent directly to Tianna .
I have attached her page for anyone who may want to read her story and help out.
Around three thousand dollars was raised and being sent to her fund page.

A great weekend was had doing some tracks led by Mike, an icy dip in the river by who else but Snappy, some amazing food cooked by the boys and thats all i can say cause its a boys weekend lol

Quite a few of our members headed off to the snow for a fun weekend at Jamieson/Mt Skene.
There were 19 vehicles which meant 2 permits and splitting the convoy into two to make it manageable.
It was a fun weekend with some always fun 4x4ing, snowboarding attempts, building snowmen, snowball fights and just generally having a great time. A good feed at the Jamieson Brewery topped the weekend off nicely.

A couple more good trips coming up so stay tuned!

We headed on up to Barmah this weekend for some NP exploring which was easy but muddy, drove into Echuca, checked out the muster yards from the 1800s, enjoyed a meal at the Barmah pub and chilled by the river with a nice big fire and great company!

If your heading this way or in the area, drop in and give some support to this great pub and the people who work there.. This should not be allowed to happen once! Let alone twice 😡😡
Sending our best wishes and hoping you guys stay strong and in business for all the travelers that love dropping in

From one of the owners of Devils Marbles Hotel
Let’s not forget it was hit the night before too

Support them where you can - stop in for a feed or refreshment

They need us now

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with support — it truly means the world to us right now.

We are devastated.

Our staff have been hurt, part of our business is closed, and our team is shaken.

We have poured everything into this place, and to be hit twice in two days is almost too much to put into words.

We are not writing this out of anger — we are writing this because we genuinely need help.

To Chief Minister Finocchiaro and Attorney-General Boothby: we respectfully ask for your support.
Remote businesses like ours are the backbone of the Stuart Highway corridor.

We need to know that those responsible will face real consequences — not to punish for the sake of it, but because without meaningful accountability, this will keep happening to us and to others.

We love this community. We love what this place means to travellers and locals alike. We just want to feel safe running it.

Thank you for standing with us. 🙏
