🇮🇹✨ WE ARE BACK WITH ANOTHER FESTA! ✨🌶️
Join FILEF as we come together to celebrate la Festa Della Repubblica - commemorating the 1946 referendum where citizens voted to transition from a monarchy to a republic. We would like to present a counter-institutional alternative left voice to the military parades, situating the discussion in our context: one that highlights our responsibility as migrants on stolen land to First Nations justice and sovereignty. ✊🏼🫡
📣 So far we have confirmed the following passionate voices in our community:
Dr Kristen Zornada - a human rights lawyer and academic whose extensive research and decade-long activism span constitutional justice for First Nations peoples, the legal construction of organised crime, and international human rights advocacy for the Palestinian cause. 🌟
Mililma May - a campaign and advocacy manager for .
