Hughesdale Art Group look forward to hosting Graeme Altmann for an oil painting demonstration on Friday 18th September. We are eager to watch his techniques as he discusses his work and creates art. His paintings are atmospheric and distinctive.
Visitors are welcome. There is no need to book.
Members please bring a plate to share.

Last Friday Hughesdale Art Group held a small workshop run by the artist Catherine Hamilton. We made use of our special meeting room as a few of our members enjoyed a time exploring dramatic landscapes using charcoal and then mixed media. Some fabulous dramatic artworks were created. We thank Catherine Hamilton for her time, energy and technique advice.
Meanwhile another 20 or so members continued to work on their own creations in the main hall. What a terrific morning!

One last quick reel to end the celebrations our group enjoyed at the break up! Enjoy a festive Christmas song before you may (thankfully?) leave it for 11 months. 😂
As you can see we had a lot of fun laughing through the frame. Maybe it’s our group’s festive take on the wedding Photo Booth! 😂😘
What a terrific bunch we are….perhaps you would love to come and join us for studio work on Fridays from 9:30 until early afternoon? We are starting back on February 6th. Come and have a chat, a coffee and check out the vibe. 🎄✨❄️
