One last quick reel to end the celebrations our group enjoyed at the break up! Enjoy a festive Christmas song before you may (thankfully?) leave it for 11 months. 😂
As you can see we had a lot of fun laughing through the frame. Maybe it’s our group’s festive take on the wedding Photo Booth! 😂😘
What a terrific bunch we are….perhaps you would love to come and join us for studio work on Fridays from 9:30 until early afternoon? We are starting back on February 6th. Come and have a chat, a coffee and check out the vibe. 🎄✨❄️

Our Opening Night saw around 140 people attending! We lost count! It was busy but very successful. This year’s judge Godwin Bradbeer gave the audience a few anecdotes and selected some worthy winners of the various categories. Attendees admired the work, chatted, enjoyed some nibbles and were complimentary about the exhibition, and also Its curation and talent of our wonderful members.
The exhibition finishes Sunday 9th at 5pm. You have time to pop in and admire the work and/or buy the work!

It was a beautiful day yesterday for the Hughesdale art group’s stall at Oakleigh market. This was a venture into advertising our annual show to locals in the area. We had lots of visitors admiring the artworks and chatting about the group. Absolute enormous thanks to those that came so early in the morning and set up the show and all that tables and paintings, and also did a remarkable job at being there at the stall and chatting to people throughout the morning. I won’t list everyone on this post but wait until the exhibition! But Thank you to Julie who gave her time to paint while stall was up.
Exhibition runs from November 6th until November 9th. Times on the last slide. Opening night is Wednesday November 5th.

It’s that time of year to put the wonderful Hughesdale Art Group’s Annual art Exhibition in your calendars to pop in for a visit.
Times: Thursday 6th November 10am - 8pm
Friday 7th November 10am - 8pm
Saturday 8th November 10am - 5pm
Sunday 9th November 10am - 5pm
Come and wander to see what our members have been creating this year. Maybe pick up a gift for Christmas or a blank spot on one of your walls! What artwork is calling your name?!
Opening Night: Wednesday 5th November 7:30pm. This year’s judge is Godwin Bradbeer. A well known contemporary visual artist. We thank and acknowledge Godwin for his willingness to judge for us this year.
